This is about right.

I have not been here for a few years now and it has not changed.  It is still hot as hell and the food here is still fucking good.  Cheap as hell, but good.  And everything else is way overpriced.

But I have been having a lot of fun here.  We have been doing a lot of shopping today and am going to head over to the pool later on in the afternoon for a cool off period of 1hr. or more. 

The sun is out and the place is looking good.  I am having a pretty good time and so is she.  We ate with my Uncle George yesterday and my Dad.  He was overlapping us by a day so we had a meal with him.  But he left this morning.

We are going to go to Night Safari tonight.  It is one of my favorite places in the world.  The world’s first (Emphasis on World’s First (ALWAYS) (In Singapore)) night time zoo.  It is pretty cool. And they also have a damn good food court there.  Which actually is pretty random if you ask me.  Cause it’s like huh?  OK.

Hey guys,
I am leaving for Singapore.  Albeit for 4days. 
3nights.  But still I get to go on Holiday and it is nice.  I
did a presentation, and it was high stressed, cause I was talking
abouta  subject that would give me high stress.  Hong Kong.

But I think I did ok.  I realized that after that, I was done,
that I missed a lot fo details, but I think I did enough.  But
sigh.  I hope I did ok.  I’m paranoid.  This
presentation, was a high stress event for me just cause it was not
really up my alley.

But I am done.  So how do you reward yourself with a job… semi-well-done?  Singapore.

Yeah that’s it.  Singapore.  So I will try to update while I
am there, cause there is Wi-Fi everywhere.  I can’t wait till I
get food and Chicken Rice… In Singapore there is food, and then
there’s Chicken Rice.  The greatest and the most fatten thing ever.

I’m fat.  No really I’m serious.  I’m fat.  I am filled
with the dread each day I look down at my belly and realise that I have
a very quickly fading pac.  From six to four and now two.  A
quite quickly fading two pack.

I went swimming on Monday, and tonight I really have to go
running.  If I am to go to Singpaore with you on Friday and we
decide to go to a beach.  I need to look semi-decent.

And semi-decent I mean, not fat.  Some of you may say, man you’re
not fat.  My reply would be, you don’t see me at home and hang my
stomach over my belt.

*sigh*

Hopefully in the next two days, my regime will heal me from the fat, and I shall with the battle of the bulge.

My super good friend, and former staffer, Potter was intown over the
weekend, so I apologise for the lack of updates.  It was pretty
cool. and was nice to see him again.  I have not really gotten to
see him since August.

We got quite a lot doen.  Actually he got a few things done too,
having looked for work, went to JMSC and sat in a class and saw the lot
from Lingnan.  And hung out withe me for most of the time.

It was nice.  he was the first houseguest we had at the Belchers,
and came in and out pretty quickly.  Silent like the Red
October.  He was quite the clean and ultimate houseguest. 
Which will make it difficult for the future cause everyone after him
will probably not live up to his standard.  Unless we get
Detective MONK or, Monical Geller.

Though he left as suddenly as he came, it was fun to see him
around.  He will be coming back to Hong Kong in the summer, to
hopefully find work, so we hope that everything works out for him
then….

Today’s weather is going to be great.  Wait, today’s weather is
not bad.  Oh wait today’s weather is going to be rather
cold.  Ooops, Today’s weather is fuck I don’t know the damn
weather is today…

That pretty much sums up my week.

Today’s weather see the return of the Curse of the Former British
Colony.  Skies will be dark and dreary.  Temperatures will
generally be cold and dank, with occasional rain showers to dampen your
mood.

I gather that everyone will probably keep warm by wearing North Face
ski Jackets, while I shall defy nature and go with the traditional
winter wear of T-Shirt and Jeans.

Yesterday I went to Shenzhen, and had a fairly scary moment.  We
went over around 2pm and everything was pretty good.  Aside from
the fact that it was pretty damn cold and I didn’t have a jacket, made
things a litle tough for me, but I digress and everyting was cool.

We shopeed around, and spent about 2 hours picking fabric and we
eventually found a tailor that would me me a Chinese Kung Fu suit, and
Her a Qi Pao.  And I am sure she will look great in that. 
Not great hot.  Irresistable.

After the stress of being in that mall.  Claustrophic from no
windows, we decided that we needed some massages… Well we wanted them
before we got there, but now we really needed it.

We had a 3hr massage: two hour body and hour of foot.  It was
pretty good.  I mean nice.  comfortable. and just good. 
But it took forever. So at the end of the massage it was 9:20 and we
were way over out lets not eat after 8:30 limit.

But what happened after dinner was scary.  And it happend
twice.  But the first time was scarier, cause the second time I
was not sure of.

As I was walking toward the train station, girl in tow, I saw a guy
walk toward us, who looked slightly dodgy.  Then I turned around
and he was walking toward her.  He was about to reach for her bag,
when she turned around too and he quickly walked away.

That guy looked evil and he was genuinely scared that he was found
out.  And I was really angry.  She was kinda scared, shocked
more maybe but I was ready to beat him with something anything. 
Fuck, I thought mainland China was beyond this already.  I guess
not.

I saw Brokeback Mountain yesterday, and yo know what.  I was not
happy at all.  I was very dissappointed by this movie.

My man, in Asia, made a fantastic looking film, but I have to say it
definitely was not worthy of Best Picture.  I have to say, Crash
was more worth than Brokeback was, and if at all the other movies
also…

Man I was mad. I mean that movie was so hyped up and everything and yet
when I went to this movie I was ready to be blown away.  I was
ready to watch this movie that was multi-layerd, and super deep. 
I was ready to have a look at a film that tackled homesexual relations
in the South in the 60s.  But really it was more a good ol
fashioned star-crossed lovers, tradgiv love story.

I was not too happy when I left.  I didn’t shed a tear.  It
was a very tender and touching relationship, but that was it. 
There was maybe 5mins on what it is like to be Homosexual in the 60s,
but that was it.

Don’t get me wrong, it still is a good movie.  But it was not
worth all the depth and the arguments, that the movie caused.  And
it would not have been worth the Oscar.

Though I have to say, that the sex scene between Jake Gyllenhall, and
Heath Ledger was done in a very tasteful way.  And it was quite
passionate and very well done.  I was suprised by that scene in
some way.  I knew when it was coming, and when it came.  It
was perfect.  Lee Ang did a great job with that.

But, I have to way say Hulk, was a film that dealt with Cloning, and
messing with nature more than Brokeback Mountain dealt with
homesexuality.

Out of 10, I give Brokeback a 7.  A great movie, well acted and well shot, but it lacked depth and structure.

I have officially moved out of my office at Lingnan, after I vacated
the premises and left my Job after November 2005. By moving out, I mean
they actually packed my stuff for me, paid someone to take all my stuff
by van to my home.  Yeah, it has taken me 5 months for
them to kick my ass out of that office.  It has been more fun
defying the organizations, and actually sticking it to the man.

Ha.  I did enjoy my time quite a lot when I was there, but you kow
what.  I was unceremoniously re-hired and fired within a month
again at that school and I have bitter bitter feelings about that
situation.  So that last impression is not sitting well with me
anymore…

So you know what?  Fuck you….
