  • Ok…

    After careful consideration… I have decided something.  I need a
    job.  If there is anyone in this world who is willing to give me a
    job doing something, anything I would be most grateful.

    I know my skills could be useful for many things, but right now, Toilet
    cleaner sounds good.  I just want to do something with my time,
    other than do my Masters project.  *sigh* which I really need to
    get done.

    Today is the last class for Media Law, and you know what.  THANK
    GOD!  I mean shit, aside of the fucking long 4000 word essay that
    we will have to be writing and about 20 more little papers.  I
    think I am generally done with all my work…

    And by done, I mean, still have a Masters Project to finish.  Which thankfully is due August 1st and I can chill on it.

    Sigh, I need a life and a job.  And maybe I will try to get all
    them interviews done before I get on with my job searching.  And
    interview, means the ones for my Project and not Job interviews. 

    well either way.  It’s good to be back for now.  But the
    stress of moving around is killing me and I need to get back to some
    normalcy.  Damn Media Law, damn it all to hell…

    Some very interesting replies to my last entry.  Fun stuff.  Ok
    women… I’ll stop riffing on your for a while.  And we’ll just talk me
    again.  Cause that is honestly all I know about.  What goes on in my
    little head over here, is actually not that much.  I am just here to
    hang out and play drums.  At the end of the day, the smarts that I
    think I have somehow remain in my subconscious.  And all I want to do
    is play drums and make people laugh…

    So what is my goal in life you say?  Play drums. really?  uh huh.

    The my brain hasn’t much else going for it…

    sigh…

    I’m tired. I still in my studio.  After Shepards the Weak left, I’m
    still stuck here doing my Media Law homework.  Ok, don’t get me wrong. 
    I really enjoy all this Journalist stuff. And I love wriitng, or else I
    wouldn’t have this damn xanga site, but this homework is just not fun.

    I could spend my time doing much better things, other than, writing about Australian freedom of speech… sigh…

    Anyway, if you have any suggestions or quotes on Aussie freedom, now is the time to do so…

    At what point in a girls life do they learn that when they are with a guy they will quit making decisions.  I know I am speaking generally here, and I know that there are girls who know how to make decisions.  And the few exceptions that there are, I know who you are and love you guys for being able to do so.

    But you lot out there.  I want to know when you really learned this skill.  Some of you look confused and let me tell you what I mean.

    Boy:  Hey where do you want to eat?

    Girl:  I don’t know?

    Boy:  You want Japanese, Chinese, Western, or Korean?

    Girl: I don’t know.

    Boy: Just pick one.

    Girl: I don’t know what I want.

    Boy: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Pick!

    Girl: You choose.

    Ring a bell, any familiarity?

    I don’t know where you learned it.  But we certainly don’t have this skill.  I don’t know if you got a manual when you were a kid that said, when with a guy, let them choose.  I wish that girls sometimes knew what they wanted.

    I think most of my friends I know when you ask them what they want, they can suggest something, and that’s great.  But the lot of you who cannot decide, please please please try to learn.  I think it’s great sometimes when we get to decide, but when guys are asking you where you want to eat, they are being genuine.  They are not doing it to be nice.  They really want to take you to a place where you want to go and not always the places they want to go.

    So stop and think of all the wonderful foods that reside in your cities, and make a list of where you want to go.  Mental list.  Then the next when said men ask “what o you want to eat?” you can say.  Oh there’s this japanese restaurant in SOHO i’ve been meaning to try, lets go there…..

    Man this seems like a lot.  Doesn anybody think I can do this?

    Entry Requirements
    : (a)(i) a pass in 2 subjects at advanced level in the Hong Kong
    Advanced Level Examination and Grade C or above in 3 other subjects,
    including English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of
    Education Examination, or equivalent; and 5 years’ experience in
    broadcasting or journalism; or (ii) a Diploma in Music from the Hong
    Kong Academy for Performing Arts, or equivalent; and 5 years’ relevant
    experience; or (iii) a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent; and 3 years’
    relevant experience; or (iv) a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience;
    (b) a pass in English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong
    Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; (c) good written
    and spoken English; (d) good broadcasting voice; and (e) able to work
    independently. (Note: Candidates may be required to sit for a voice and/or trade test.)

    Duties: Producing
    and presenting radio programmes; formulating programme ideas, planning
    and designing programme content; undertaking research work; organizing
    and directing the production of programmes; conducting interviews;
    writing and editing scripts; recording; carrying out editing and
    post-production work. (Note : May be required to work irregular hours /
    over-night shifts / weekends)

    Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits:
    Successful candidates will be appointed on one-year non-civil service
    contract terms. If the contract is satisfactorily completed with
    consistently high standard of performance and conduct, the officer may
    be granted a gratuity which, when added together with the Government’ s
    contribution to MPF scheme, equals 15% of the total basic salary drawn
    during the contract period. Rest days, general holidays, annual leave,
    maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted
    on terms not less favourable than the provisions of the Employment
    Ordinance.

    Centres of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres
