  • I should have known, but I didn’t.  I should have seen it coming, but I couldn’t.  The empty promises I now see, the inabilities I now see, the hurt I now feel it too.  But what can I do?  It is better I guess.  Or maybe not.  I don’t know.  Is this freedom, is this liberation.  I think not.  Is it anything? I don’t know.Do I care, yes I do.  It is the end, I know that… Lets leave it at that for now.  I will be seeing you around for sure, it was great, it was special, it was fun.  I will miss it.  It was so short.  I will bounce back eventually, give me some time.

    Home

    Another summer day

    Is come and gone away

    In Paris and Rome

    But I wanna go home

    Mmmmmmmm

    Maybe surrounded by

    A million people I

    Still feel all alone

    I just wanna go home

Oh I miss you, you know

And I’ve been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you

Each one a line or two

“I’m fine baby, how are you?”

Well I would send them but I know that it’s just not enough

My words were cold and flat

And you deserve more than that

    Another aerorplane

    Another sunny place

    I’m lucky I know

    But I wanna go home

Mmmm, I’ve got to go home

    Let me go home

I’m just too far from where you are

    I wanna come home

And I feel just like I’m living someone else’s life

It’s like I just stepped outside

    When everything was going right

And I know just why you could not

    Come along with me

But this was not your dream

But you always believe in me

    Another winter day has come

    And gone away

    And even Paris and Rome

    And I wanna go home

    Let me go home

    And I’m surrounded by

    A million people I

    Still feel alone

    Oh, let go home

Oh, I miss you, you know

    Let me go home

    I’ve had my run

    Baby, I’m done

    I gotta go home

    Let me go home

    It will all right

    I’ll be home tonight

    I’m coming back home

  • I’m Fucking snowed In…

Alright, I’m a little bitter cause I was all ready to go
home and I ended up having stay another day.  though Japan
Airlines offored to put me up int eh Hyatt Hotel near the Airport, I
was like I WANNA GO HOME…

Alright I’ll do ok.  One day is ok for now… Because I wanted a
cheaper flight, I had to go through Japan and Tokyo was completely
snowed in, which is very rare, and I couldn’t find another plane for me
    to go home.

So I am in the middle of nowhere…  I had to walk about 40mins
just to find food.  But you know what… an extra 10mins late I
found a really good Japanese Restaurant run by Japanese people, I mean
they were real Japanese.  They made real Japanese Food, it was
    nice.

So now I’m back in my hotel, and waiting to fall asleep and just
relax.  I may read a bit and then watch some more TV.  Can’t
wait till I get back to Hong Kong.

  • Can’t believe I missed a day.  And on the last day of my
holiday… Sigh… Oh well.  I think I am old enough to not be too
bitter for too long… But I almost did it…  It was my damn nap
that I took the other day that fucked it up…  But I digress.

I saw a great movie today called Glory Road, it’s about a Texas
Basketball Coah in the 60s, who put out the first ever Black starting
lineup and won an NCAA Championship, not to mention had the Majority of
black players instead of White players on his team.

Mind you, if you do not like Basketball that much, you may not like it
as much as I did, but the human element and the triumph over adversity
is a theme in all of us, and it was a damn good movie too.

My last day in San Francisco was nice… It was low key and it was
fun… Just what I wanted.  I got to visit Jonah’s school and met
his classmates.  I went downtown to eat lunch with and auntie, and
I came home and played with the kids… Not to mention watched Star
Wars: Clone Wars with them too.  Then watched Glory Road, and had
a nice steak dinner with Trevor and Karen…

It was a good end to a great Holiday.  I’m ready to go home.

  • I slept all day today… No seriously I slept all day today… I’m
kinda bitter about that and wasted a day, but then again I am on
holiday.  I woke up in the morning and did go to Football (soccer)
practice with Jonah after Noah went to school and played with them for
a while  But that was it.

Then I went home and I decided to take a small nap.  But in the
end, I woke up at around dinner time.  And noone was at the
house.  Noah was at a birthday party, and I guess everyone just
went without me… I must have dead like a log cause I never heard a
    thing…

Oh well, I slept great and had California Pizza Kitchen a little later
on so that made it all better.  You know, food always makes
everything easier.  And when the food is good, Mmmmm life is nice.

  • My last few days are going to be super low key.  Atleast I want
them to be cause I want to relax before I go back to school.  I
don’t want to burn myself out during the first week of school.

So anyway, today was super low key.  Though I went to bed past 3am
last night, I woke up at 9am to go to a kids museum with Jonah.
Every Tuesday he has a interactive music class.  So we headed out
to Discovery Museum and we just hung out for a few hours.

Afterwards, we went home and went Grocery Shopping, which I love for
some reason.  The sheer size of the Supermarkets here are just
like heaven to me.  All that food and quality products that they
have on sale, that it puts all HK supermarkest to shame.

We picked Noah up from school and then I went to get a new set of
trainers, just cause my back in Hong Kong are starting to fall
apart,  The laces looop is not doing too well. and by not doing
too well, I mean it is comming off.

I was picked up by Trevor and was suddenly whisked away to watch him
Coach Elementary Baskeball at Noah’s School.  Noah wasn’t playing
just watching.  I ended up with Jonah and two other boys, I
entertained them by wrestling and fighting on the stage at the
    gym.  Kinda fun.

Then it was back at home for dinner, whcih karen made by the way. And
it was good.  very good, soya sauce Chincken, and some nice
spinach.  Then off to the Gym for real.  It was my
turn.  I need to get back to my ol fit body and This is how I am
starting.  going to hit the gym everyday at my new place and just
    become hot again hopefully.

    We shall see…

    Three more days till reunion.

  • With a modicum of dignity restored, It’s nice to be home.  Albeit,
the home away from HOME.  But this wil do for now.  Yes,
insted of waking up and baby sitting kids while the adults and older
kids went skiing.  We left Tahoe.  That’s right, the morning
was way too stressful for everyone to deal with so we left the
place.  A frantic craziness in the morning of packing and
cleaning.  And since I had done all my packing and cleaning before
I went to be last night, I just went back to sleep.

When I woke up, it was almost time to leave.  I took a shower and
was out of the house in 30mins.  By 10:30am we were out of the
house and on the highway, save for a little trouble with the Windshield
wiper not working and a stop to McDonalds, we were back in San
Francisco by 2:00pm and even had time to get some Vietnamese takeout.

    It’s good to be home.

  • So today, I skied well.  I did well.  I think it may have
helped to have the unofficial, Jonthan’s Ski Playlist in my iPod but
that made things so much sweeter.  158 songs or 9.7 hours of pure
rock music to get me to enjoy nature and to be one with it.  It
    was awesome.

I think it did it’s work because I actually skied from the top of the
mountain.  Yes I went about 10,000 feet and skied down back to the
lodge.  It was the carziest thing I have ever done, and you know
what?  I fell only three times.  I did a run that wa 1/8th
the length and I fell more that three times.  Not bad a for the
    third day.

But I have had had enough of skiing for now.  I am so tired from
everything, and just so damn sore that I cannot do this anymore.
I was working so hard over the last three days that my body has just
    begun to fall apart.

Today was pretty much all me day.  I did the top o’ the mountain
run with Karen, Trevor, and Jonah, and we got some nice pics.
Some of me actually skiing.  So that was pretty cool.  I put
some online, one of these days.

So when Jonah is skis, he actually on a harness.  There is this
thing that is strapped to Jonah’s vest and then Karen of Trevor follow
around behind holding onto the strap.  It’s pretty
cool.   I was like, damn I want one and it looks so cool.

So I got to ski a few runs today and as I listened to my iPod, froze my
ass off and just tried to relax, I was like just like wow.  God is
amazing.  I was so amazied by what i was seeing.  And I
wished I could share it with someone.  Next to me.  Hopefully
    next time.

This Holiday is down to it’s last week and I am going to go back to
school.  To be reunited with my friends in and out of school whom
    I all miss quite alot.

I just want to walk the streets, I want to hang out in Lan Kwai Fong, I
want to eat Cha Siu, I want to be home.  I miss my cats.  I
do enjoy being here in the United States, but there is something about
Hong Kong, that keeps me wanting to be back there forever.

Tomorrow, I am on baby sitting duty, as they go out and ski in the
morning.  I’m too tired and I don’t think my body can handle one
more ski run.  Sigh.  It was fun while it lasted.  While
I lasted.  I’ll be back in san Francisco tomorrow night and I
cannot wait, I am close to civilization, and just have time to enjoy
the family, and the shipping.  Away from all the stress of two
families, 5 adults and 6 kids… whos ages when added up still do not
    meet 26.
