  • We went to a movie yesterday.  It was a Japanese Movie, and I have
to say there has not been one Japanese movie that I have not
liked.  Animated or full length features, even short films and
    documentaries I have immensely enjoyed.

Last night’s was no different.  It was about two seemingly
unrelated people, one a punk rocker in a band with great potential, and
the other a suburban girl trying to make it on her own in the real
world.  After a chance meeting on a train, both realize their
share the same name, and eventually end up sharing an apartment.

Both lead tragic lives, and yet through each other they find their
redemption and their joy.  That is what made this movie
great.  It is quite a sad and touching story and just a
beautifully crafted piece.  Aside from some minor editing kinks.

But the best part about the movie was not the actual movie.  The
best part was actually half way through the show, Christy accidentally
pick up the drink from the seat next to her thinking it was hers.

She almost drank it but she quickly put it back as soon as she saw my face and the label on the bottle.

She didn’t realize that the bottle I had bought earlier was by my feet
and not next to her.  We had a good laugh about it… and thank god
the movie finished after this little event.  We ran out of the
    theater as quick as possible.

That was a fun night.  A good movie, some great happenings… and an all round good day.

Till I had to go home for home work.

  • So on Sunday night, Christy and I decided to make cookies. They were nothing special. They were the type of cookies with a pre-made batter. We didn’t have to buy our own flour and chocolate chips and all that…

It was kinda like cheating in a way, but it still required cooking knowledge, not like the Pillsbury kind which is pre mixed and pre rolled. That stuff you just take our and bake…

This requires some mixing, so before you cry foul, remember that I am a guy. And as established as my cooking skills are, I’m still lazy as hell.

But they were great cookies… We made 3 batches and ended up with 34 cookies. Christy tried like 3 with some Jam on them but they weren’t the best.

Still I had fun doing it. And it was some quality time with Christy and that made me feel good.

For a while it was just like the simpler days of not doing that much and just enjoying life… That was cool…

  • If how I take care of the cats is any indication of what kinda father I am going to be. I am a little worried.

I guess after a while I got so busy, that as I was taking care of them cleaning them, and feeding them well, I had neglected their other needs.

I forgot that I had to regularly help them cut their claws. And I didn’t. One day at home there we little spots of blood on the bed sheets, and I realized that the one of the cats had to be bleeding.

Eventually, we found that Puffy had a one of her claws grown into her foot. I don’t think it was bothering her that much cause it wasn’t like she was crying all the time and she still was jumping around the house.

But All of a sudden I felt horrible cause she was bleeding and I felt useless… Then again I was useless.

Well Sunday was the day I was taking Honey to get neutered, so I was like it is time for me to take the other cats to for their grooming day.

Man I usually take pretty good care of my cats… and the last time I took the cats in to get their claws cut was just before the Programme finished so… August.

The people at the Cat store yelled at me, and I deserved it. I totally deserved it. When they took her claw out, Puffy wailed hard and was fighting to get out. I felt like dying. It hurt me a lot to hear her in so much pain.

I have been so busy at school that it has destroyed my life outside of school. I have had homework every night, and not have had time to spend with other people.

But at the same time I am loving school so much that makes the pain much easier to bear.

Having said this, I still do miss Christy and everyone else.

  • Man I’m getting tired.  So much stuff to do.  Especially after Reading week.

Hong Kong Universities have this thing called reading week, which
allows a week for people to study before mid-terms… noone does
    anything anyway
