  • Today’s entry is called… I love stupid people.

    Alright get this,

    Someguy, but the name of  E. Forbes Smiley walked into a Yale
    Univeristy library and stole a bunch of hisotical maps and art. 
    This guy was so good, that he had stuff  it in his brief case, and
    his jacket pocket.

    But criminals always do, he did a dumb thing.  He dropped a x-acto
    blade next to him in the library and the librarian went and got
    evidence of him stealing maps and stuff on the security cameras.

    Then he claims that the maps were his and he was comparing. 

    Damn, this guy is really stupid.  But so was Yale
    Univeristy.  I mean, come on.  If you have such rare and
    expensive things, there usually is a person who is there to supervise
    your handling of these arifacts.  Noone in their right mind would
    leave a historical pice for you to handle on your own… At the most
    they would lock you in a room where it is you at the thing only.

    Have you seen Red Dragon?  When Ralph Finnes needs to look at the
    painting of the Red Dragon at the Smithsonian, he gets to go to a
    private viewing room, and the person stays with him.  Only when he
    did whack her over the head was he able to do what he wanted with the
    painting.

    So I say… here’s my rating system.  Yale Univeristy D- (for securoty)… Smiley F (Dumb)

    I would have failed Yale for this event but then again, they are Yale
    Univeristy… and it is my belief  that anybody who’s last name is
    smiley and looks liked that guy just shouldn’t be trusted.  But
    that is just me thinking…

    He kinda reminded me of Nick Nolte in his DUI photo… so how could he wear a suit and look scholarly… I will never know…

    And get this, apparently he may have done this in other libraries, now
    now libraries as far as England are checking their stock to make sure
    mr. educated dummasss here didn’t mess with them too…

  • Man it has been a while since I have updated. It was great when I was
    at work and I could do that on a daily basis, minus the weekends. But
    now I just get so bogged down with work, that I just can’t be bothered.

    I
    have been so swamped with the news these days that it is getting crazy.
    So many bad things happening in the world you just gotta sit back and
    wonder about your life. About what you meaning and purpose is.

    I know mine, is to get my ass crackin’ and do my damn home work. But there is so much stuff to do, and so little time.

    Gotta get moving..

    So
    this was a high stress week… Having the few shows and the constant
    practices, it damn near killed me. If you include the practices, I
    played drums for at least 2 hours every day from Tuesday to Saturday. I
    almost played drums today at church, but I was going to go to a boat
    trip so I had to cancel the drum session, and find a replacement.

    I
    was all psyched up for the boat trip. I really had been swimming and
    just being out in the sun for a long time. We were supposed to go
    during the mid-autumn festival but then rain killed that idea. So we
    figured the next public holiday would have worked, which is this
    weekend, cause it is Chinese National Holiday and that means we go out.

    Anyway,
    Christy had bought new swimsuit and clothes for the boat trip and
    everything. though she was not crazy about this trip at all. See, she
    hates the sun. So much that when we go rained out last time, she pretty
    much did a dance. So she was so reluctant about today.

    However
    last night, she deemed herself unfit for the boat trip today. and I
    mean medically, so I was left again with a missed opportunity to go out
    on a boat. And probably, wouldn’t get too much of a chance to go out on
    a boat again till next summer… Oh well..

    I did get to sleep in
    though and that was great. I needed this extra rest. I never sleep good
    or enough these days so it gets tough. The 9:30 ending to classess are
    not helping either… and waking up early every single day of the week,
    and sleeping past 12am every night, is not helping my body. I think my
    health is deteriortating at a much rapid pace than I expected.

    My
    day instead was spent waiting for Chirty to come out. We eventually had
    KFC at her home and watched a pretty good Andy Lau movie. the movie is
    modelled after the Tom Hanks Movie Big. But it has a differenet
    twist… you will have watch it. But Andy Lau is becomming quite an
    actor…

    Not that it is deteriorating a lot, but I am
    getting to a point where I am always tired and that is not an idea as
    we say in Chinese…

    Anyway… time for bed… gotta wake up early and do homework… *sigh*
